Course Description

Behavioral ethics is primarily a study of how people rationalize bad behavior. Saul Gellerman of the University of Dallas identified four commonly held rationalizations that have led to ethical misconduct that resulted in the implosion of the companies involved. In this webinar, Greg and Caleb will unpack these four rationalizations and examine practical ways to protect yourself and your organization from their harmful effects.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify Gellerman's four common rationalizations that lead to ethical misconduct

  • Evaluate the often problematic interplay between loyalty and ethics

  • Determine how transparency—both real and perceived—affects rational behavior
